16th September 2007 Windsurfing: Hayling Island Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: F4 Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: 16 Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: got down there about 11.30 Alan C arrived too. 6.5 /102, looked light initially but brightened and strengthened up. Got in 2 hours of good sailing, stopped for late lunch, then went back out for a couple of runs but cold and tired, sun gone, imminent rain. Defo gybing improving, now need to work on tidying up technique - 6.5 too big at some points, just enough at others. Very enjoyable and good to be out after such a long gap :-). |
